What if I have a medical emergency?
If you believe you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911. Someone will notify the physician on call with your request, and he or she will respond to you. Our goal is to respond to these requests within 15 minutes. If you don’t hear from someone within 15 minutes, please call again.
How do I make an appointment?
Call our office at 763.780.6699 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Most office appointments with a surgeon can be made within a week of your request. In some cases, same day appointments may be available. We will make every effort to accommodate your time and location preferences. When you call, please also provide us with any information about tests you have had related to your current condition, including X-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs, CT scans or mammograms.
How do I obtain prescription refills?
Please call during regular business hours (7am – 5pm) to request medication refills. There may be occasions when you will be denied or only given a limited prescription until an appointment is made so your surgeon can evaluate your condition. This is done for your own safety. Our clinic policy is not to refill narcotics after business hours.
What does FACS stand for?
The letters FACS (Fellow, American College of Surgeons) after a surgeon’s name mean that the surgeon’s education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College.
